Drove us crazy, made us Mad !!! (Suzuki GS 150 R)

I was just watching TV last week and than I came across this ad. Yeah, its been here for quite a while and I was thinking of writing about it from the very first day I saw it but I forgot about this ad. Now this time I decided to blabber about the ad of Suzuki GS150-R.
But let us know about the company first. Suzuki is here in India for quite a long time. For those of you who don't know about it; Yes, its true. It had a kind of Joint venture with the TVS company. But its pretty hard to survive like Hero Honda and be the market leader. Thats why TVS-Suzuki and Kawasaki-Bajaj failed.

Now about the ad. Anybody remember the ad "No problem" of suzuki samurai??? It was one of my favorite ads and I still remember it. Since Suzuki Re-entered in the market, this company is not doing any good for itself as well as for consumers. If you remember the ad of Zeus, all I remember about the ad is that was a Crap ad. Just following it, comes another rubbish ad from Suzuki.

The ad start with a girl saying to the rider "Drive me Crazy". And rider tries to do that or somewhat actually manages to do that with this bike. First of all, emphasis on looks has been given on this bike. But this bike is a mixture of all the other bike of this segment. And what is the Sixth gear doing in a 150cc bike with 13.8 bhp which is nearly lowest in the segment. In the end of this ad, some drums from the ongoing truck "accidentally" fall downs and comes in front of the bike but Rider stops the bike with the help of front disc brake and both of the rider and pillion manages to miss those drums. Not even a single drum touches any one of them and not even the bike. And the "overjoyed lady" says in the end "once more". And the shit ends.
The bike is as rubbish as the ad and its a commuter-tourer bike. So it might be liked by the executives but I havent seen more that 10 GS150-R on road. Maybe this explains that the bike as well as the ad of it is a Big Flop and fails to drive us crazy, rather makes us crazy enough to buy another bike.
